One of Ireland’s leading professional players, William O’Connor has been a fixture on the PDC circuit for more than a decade. Known as “The Magpie”, the Limerick thrower combines heavy scoring with a clinical finishing game and has established himself as a regular presence on some of darts’ biggest stages.
O’Connor reached the 2019 World Cup of Darts final representing Ireland and has competed at every staging of the tournament. His individual highlights include claiming a PDC ProTour title in 2019 and reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 UK Open. He joined Shot Darts in 2026 as he continues his push up the PDC rankings.
