ANNE KRAMERFind out all about Anne Kramer including her favourite darts, career highlights and other interesting information
How long playing darts: Anne started playing darts in 1981 when one of her 6 brothers, joined a darts league and started practicing at home. It was not long before the rest of the family was hooked into darts. Anne excelled more than the rest to the point of becoming one of the top female players in Arizona by the age of 16!!! Career Highlights: Anne has been playing and competing at a local, regional and national level in the USA off and on for about 30 years, winning her first ladies event at 18 years of age and has gone through to win other singles titles, more recently being the 501 and cricket singles at the 2009 Old Pueblo Dart Classic, as well as the 2009 Seaside Highland Games along with the 2010 and 2011 Seaside Highland Games 501 singles champion and cricket singles runner up. Over the last 10 years Anne has been ranked the #1 player in the Southern California region for at least 7 or 8 of the those years. One of Anne's roles as a Shot! Ambassador will be writing articles for us, covering everything about darts, tournaments, players and of course product reviews!!! We look forward to posting Anne's articles. Other points of interest: Anne's favourite routine is just to sit and relax and throw a few to stay loose before a tournament. "Most people don't realise how much travelling can take a toll on a player, so once I get somewhere, I take the time to relax before all the fun begins"... Anne Kramer Anne usually just throws at the 20's first to get loose and then moves around to the cricket numbers and then some doubles. Anne's favourite food is Italian and in her spare time writes about darts for a couple different websites, along with currently writing a book. Anne also likes to listen to music, and paint ceramic figurines. For more information about Anne check out www.sleepykramer.com |
